As a mum of two, I can’t recommend this guide enough. It’s not just a sleep guide—it’s a companion for mothers navigating the often overwhelming journey. What sets it apart is the heart and expertise behind it. The guide isn’t about quick fixes or rigid rules; instead, it reassures you that what you’re experiencing is normal and validates the instinctive bond between you and your baby. From the first page, I felt seen and supported. It’s clear that Lauren has poured her wealth of knowledge as a nurse, midwife, and sleep specialist into every section. What I love most is how approachable her advice is. The tone feels like chatting with a friend who just gets it. The guide doesn’t shame you for breastfeeding to sleep or needing extra cuddles—it celebrates the closeness and attachment these moments create. I found myself feeling more confident and relaxed after just a few chapters. The section on sleep myths alone was a game-changer. It gave me the tools to push back against unrealistic expectations and societal pressures that were making me feel like I was failing. Whether you’re looking for clarity on what’s normal, solutions for common challenges, or just some much needed reassurance, this guide delivers. It’s also incredibly comprehensive—everything you could think to ask is here, which means less googling and second-guessing yourself at 3 a.m. The Facebook community adds an extra layer of support. Honestly, this guide has helped me not only with sleep but also with my confidence as a mother. If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure of what to do next, trust me—this guide is worth every cent. It’s an investment in your peace of mind and your relationship with your little one. Thank you for creating something so special. You’ve made a difference for me, and I know you will for so many other mums too.

As a first time mum this guide has been life changing. I have encountered a lot of information and “advice” about sleep that simply did not sit right with me, and when I discovered Sprouting Sleep’s Resources and this guide I thought to myself “yes, this is it”. This is the information and support that resonates with me and the way that I have always wanted to mother and support my baby. The guide is written in such a positive and beautiful way that left me with a deep understanding of infant sleep, but also reassured me that wanting to nurture and hold my baby wasn’t “bad” as some other sleep resources and advice had tried to convince me. The section that focuses on the role that babies’ temperament plays in sleep was especially helpful when I’ve found myself asking what is wrong with my baby? (of course nothing! I have learnt that she just has her own unique set of sleep needs). The guide just busts so many sleep myths and generalisations including generalised wake windows and regressions.
It would be awesome to see a chapter about the experiences of other mums and their sleep methods/babies’ sleep journeys, just to highlight the range of normal infant sleep. Overall, the guide is fantastic. Seriously a breath of fresh air. Thank you Lauren.
